LP, 9-12 Information Technology
Information Technology (IT) literacy is one of the transferable skills that students need to develop in order to make informed decisions and take their place as citizens of the 21st Century. Proficiency in choosing and using appropriate IT solutions in a range of contexts will benefit their studies as well as their future careers.
The aim of the IT Department is to ensure that students develop both the ability to choose the best IT solution to solve a particular problem and the practical IT skills to produce a robust and effective solution.
The IT Department follows a broadly spiral curriculum. In each grade, students have the opportunity to broaden and extend the skills and understanding they acquired in previous grades.
