General information
The program seeks to contribute to the physical, mental and emotional development of the students. In addition to sports skills, development of social and emotional attitudes and habits are emphasized. Students are introduced to various sports and are taught the rules and skills. The students are expected to learn that sports activities are both fun and healthy activities to join. Cooperation, solidarity, self confidence, taking responsibility, following the leaders and leadership, fair play, struggling, appreciating the winner, learning how to lose, using and protecting the public sources well, attitudes and habits required for a democratic life style are the expected behaviors.
General Areas of Focus
High School Preparatory
Running, jumping, order exercises and main postures, independent exercises, free gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, folk dance, basketball, volleyball, handball, football, theory of physical education and health are the subjects of these grades. These subjects are introduced to students both in practice and theory.
9th Grade
Order exercises, basketball, handball, folk dance, artistic gymnastics, volleyball, rhythmic gymnastics (girls), football (boys) and athleticism are the subjects covered.
10th-11th-12th Grades
Basketball, handball, volleyball, football, badminton, table tennis, tennis and field hockey are the subjects covered.
