8th GRADES POETRY READING CONTEST

8th graders – one representative from each class- participate in this contest which has been organized by Culture, Literature and Publishing Club for three years.  Student representative from each class is selected through elimination in Turkish lessons. Jury members of the contest that takes place during the activity hour, where all 8th graders attend as spectators, are chosen among the teachers of Turkish Department. Contesters are assigned to organize a “Poetry Recital” activity later on.
