While introducing students to the history of ceramic art, ceramic classes also aim to improve participants’ level of creativity and technical skills through different methods and materials of expression. A wide range of techniques such as shaping of clay; use of different materials (modulation tools and natural sponge etc); making of pottery and use of potter’s wheel; creation of carved and wall panels; kiln-drying; glazing; use of glaze and clay mills as well as glass techniques; fusion techniques; three dimensional recycle materials; tiles and glass paintings and plaster works constitute an integral part of the applied Ceramics Program.
