IB Music

This two year elective allows music students to continue their studies via a rigorous and internatioanlly recognized curriculum laid out by the International Baccalaureate Organization. Students continue to develop performance skills as group members and as soloists.  The ongoing study of music history and theory plays a crucial role in aiding students to deepen their understanding of the role of music in their daily lives as well as the impact of music in history and around the world.  Over the two years, students also have an opportunity to research and produce a media project which allows them to compare two styles of music they find most interesting.

Students may register as Certificate or Diploma canidates for the Standard or Higher Level program.
