At the beginning of the academic year in the system introductory meeting for parents and students we introduce The Student Selection and Placement Sytem (ÖSYS). As the 9th graders will choose their tracks, we give information about the connection between the track choice in high school and the score types in the system and the university programs they can select. 

At the end of the 9th grade the students decide on one of the four avaliable tracks:  Science, Turkish-Math, Social Sciences or Foreign Language. In the classroom visits we introduce ÖSYS, give information about the connection between the tracks, score types and university programs, distribute documents including the tables about this connection and the students' questions are answered.   

It's recommended that the students visit Turkish University Fair to investigate about the university programs as they choose their tracks.

9th grade students and their parents can make appointments for individual counseling with Turkish university counselors according to their needs.
