SCORE TYPES 

    In the 2010 Student Selection and Placement System the connection between tracks in lise and university programs were removed. In the previos system, for example when a science track student choose a program other than engineering and health programs like Law, this was accepted as outside track choice and the student's school score coefficient was lowered and in result that student's score was lessened. In the new system this procedure is not applied any more.

    In addition the score types were increased. For example instead of SAY-2 score type, MF1, 2, 3 and 4 score types are used. In each score type, the contribution of the each lesson and test will be different. In the new system, as the exams and number of questions in the tests are increased, a science track student can choose a Law program without loosing any point, but in order to be placed in a Law program, he/she has to prepare himself in Turkish Literature and Geography lessons like a Turkish-Math track student. 

 

MF Score Types

MF-1 score is for math weighted programs,

MF-2 score is for science weighted programs,

MF-3 score is for heath science related programs,

MF-4 score is for engineering and technical programs.

TM Score Types

TM-1 score is little math weighted,

TM-2 score is equally weighted, 

TM-3 score is little literature weighted.
