The Library
The library strives to efficiently gather current information, categorize
it in a well-organized manner, and distribute it effectively. Additionally
it attempts to support students and staff in daily educational
activities and supply the necessary tools for individual academic
development.
The library endeavors to support and
encourage the students and staff to expand their reading activity by
utilizing the resources provided on site. It works to develop and strengthen the community spirit of Koç Elementary School. The
library is an essential tool in helping develop modern, forward
thinking Turkish students who are prepared for the future as global
minded students
There are two libraries on the school’s campus that provide the
services needed to achieve these goals for students, faculty, and all
other staff.
Our libraries have resources available in Turkish, English, German, French and Spanish. Since 1993 we have had multi-media resources available and 2001 marked the beginning of the online database availability. Every year we are adding new online databases and e-books.
We subscribe to Turkish, English, French, German, and Spanish magazines and we receive Turkish and English newspaper daily.
Teachers can bring their classes to the library to enhance their learning skills and opportunities. Students come to the library during their break times to utilize the space and resources for their educational growth.
The librarians are always ready and willing to help all visitors who are unable to find what they need.
