Elementary school history
“I feel very happy with the belief that I have been working for my family, my country and the age I have lived in”
Vehbi Koç
VKV Koç Elementary School was founded in 1998. Koç School, a model school which was bestowed to our country by Vehbi Koç Foundation in 1988, has served as a 7-year school, embracing 1-year prep class plus 3+3 middle school and high school for ten years. When compulsory education was made 8 years in Turkey, Vehbi Koç Foundation decided to establish an elementary school, which would prove to be another model school. As a result of unification of both schools, the Koç School is now providing service as an outstanding private Turkish school with 2000 students, who are given education in fourteen different classes from Kindergarten to Grade 12, including prep class.
