Patient transfer

We have the personnel and equipment required for rapid reaction. We have a patient transfer ambulance on campus available 7/24. In case of an emergency, the first medical attention is given by the school doctor and the student’s family is contacted. The student is transferred to the hospital preferred by the family via the school’s ambulance. During the transfer, the student is accompanied by a paramedic. If the condition is not an emergency, but requires attention as soon as possible, (e.g. a small cut which requires suturing) and the family cannot come and take their child, then the student is taken to a health institution chosen by the parents in the company of a paramedic to be collected by her/his parents.

Our school is a contracted customer of Medline Emergency Health Services which provides us with ambulance service when necessary.
