CANDIDATE STUDENTS
At the Koç School, the educational program provides coherence and continuity from kindergarten to grade 12. While the student centred programme applied in the Koç School provides effective learning in a multi-cultural environment, it also gives a great importance to educate the students according to the requirements of this era with inter-disciplinary studies, projects and researches supported by the use of information age technology. The Koç School gives a lot of importance to the education of Turkish as the mother tongue and English as the second language in all age groups. The school has proven its success in this field with the great Turkish and English communication skills of its alumni. German, French and Spanish are given as a second foreign language. The students start learning the Modern Foreign Language of their choice as of the 6th grade and they develop their skills in this language until they graduate. Our aim is to produce confident speakers who possess an understanding of the culture of countries where the language is spoken as well as a deeper understanding of their own cultural heritage.
